Most creators chase views 😂
I started chasing returning viewers 👇

On one channel?
300K+ views came from returning viewers.
And no, that’s not the crazy part.
One of my other channels?
27% returning viewers.
Compared to 17.5% on the first one
Now check this:

🔴 New viewers → 2:47 AVD
🟢 Returning viewers → 3:30 AVD
That’s 25.7% MORE watch time.
If you know anything about YouTube…
You know this is HUGE.
I checked 4 of my larger channels.
3 out of 4 get most of their watch time % from returning viewers.
Which means this:
If you want consistent growth,
You NEED to turn viewers into returning viewers.
Here’s the most underrated way to do that:
👉 Add more humor to your videos.
Especially in:
1) Scripts / Recordings
2) Edits
Why?
Humor has a snowball effect.
Doesn’t matter if you make story content, tutorials, or talk about “serious” stuff…
Fun = repeat viewers.
Instead of “I can’t be funny,” ask:
“How can I add more fun?”
Here’s what helped me:
I asked my editor to make fun of me during his editing.
If you want to see examples from my editor,
Or the simple trick I use before my recordings,
SO THAT he can make more fun of me…
