Alright, so now that you’ve chosen…
Let’s add 2 more stats to the mix.
Both derived from the above examples:
Video A VS Video B
Subscribe ratio: 0,36% VS 1,53% (e.g. 8 / 524 *100% = 1.53%)
HPM: 19 VS 59
HPM stands for Hours Per Mille = Watch Hours per 1,000 views.
Formula: Watch time (hours) / Views *1,000
(e.g. 30.9 / 524 *1,000 = 59 watch hours per 1,000 views)
If you had chosen video A, would you still choose it?
Now check this 👇
This is the problem most channels face.
On average it takes 15.5 months to get to 1K subs.
After 1 year and 3 months they finally hit 1,000 subscribers…
To realize that they’re only HALFWAY,
And maybe need 1-2 more years to get monetized.
Before I explain the BIG mistake to avoid before you upload your next video…
Take a look at the final comparison:
Video A VS Video B
Views: 2.2K VS 524
Watch time (hours): 42.3 VS 30.9
Subscribers: +8 VS +8
Subscribe ratio: 0,36% VS 1,53%
HPM: 19 VS 59 hours
Video duration: 5:54 VS 29:31
You’d assume by now that I’d say:
MAKE MORE VIDEOS LIKE VIDEO B.
Because you both get more subscribers AND watch hours per view.
But I won’t.
Here’s why:
Video B takes 20 hours to create (because it’s 30mins long)
Video A takes 4 hours to create.
So by making 5 videos like video A you’d get:
211,5 Watch hours (instead of 30.9 watch hours) in the SAME amount of time.
But what if I’d tell you that you can create 10+ videos like video B this year, WITHOUT extra time,
So that you that your Monetize page looks like this 👇
Without a shortage of watch hours.
Ready to monetize as soon as you’ll hit 1k subscribers.
And ready to earn with every new video you upload.
It’s possible.
