3 things I wish I knew:
(Before I started in 2012)

Back then, I thought providing value in the beginning of the video = good
Turns out I was wrong about everything.
After analyzing 500+ videos across my channels…
1) Videos with the big value at the END outperformed all others 97% of time
The secret? “Curiosity traps” every 2-5 minutes.
Example: “You’re in one of these two scenarios…”
(forces them to wait for scenario 2)
Use 3 layers:
• Macro loop: Opens in first 20 seconds, closes in final 20%
• Secondary loops: Pull between major sections
• Micro loops: “But there’s one exception that changes everything…”

2) Don’t get attached to “being liked”.
Your biggest fan today will be your biggest critic tomorrow.
3) The algorithm doesn’t care about your content.
It cares about Ad Revenue (mostly).
There are X ways to increase Ad Revenue ↓
Focus on:
→ Premium niches (finance, legal, software)
→ Premium countries (US/CA/AUS/UK)
→ Older viewers (35+ with money)
→ Longer videos (2+ hours)
For example:
Study with me
Fall asleep to
Compilations
