Another channel got hacked…
2 days ago he received this BS email.
He lost a BIG channel, with 3,000+ uploads.
IF there is ONE thing I’ve learned from this…
It is to NEVER include your Email address in your videos AND channel description 👇
Instead, change it to:
info(at)blabla.com
OR
blabla(at)gmail.com
I just made these changes to 10 of my channels.
This will make it harder for hackers to find your email.
It will also MASSIVELY reduce SPAM emails 💆♂️
The 2nd lesson I learned from this?
AVOID publicly sharing your Gmail address that is connected to your YouTube channel.
For example:
If you login to your Google Account & YouTube channel with “Jordanisthebestpersonintheworld(at)gmail.com”
Than NEVER add that email to your video descriptions, channel description, instagram bio, etc.
Once hackers know your Channel’s connected Gmail, they can start with whatever they do.
Without it, they have LESS options to F*CK you up.
