How do personal brands with less than 10,000 followers make $100,000 a month in profit?
Whereas content creators with 1 million followers do not even make $2,000 a month.
Know that I was just like them.
I was a viral creator…
I’ve uploaded over 600 videos on YouTube alone.
One of my channels went from 0 to 5,000 subscribers in 7 months.
But I was a YouTube sl*ve. I was ignorant. I held beliefs that weren’t true.
Just like I already did $4,500,000 when I was 23, but made little profit, because I didn’t see the truth sitting right in front of me.
PS: some of my bank accounts so you know I speak the truth:
Let me share something you’ve probably never heard before…
A viral creator makes YouTube money.
Whereas for a profit creator, YouTube makes him/her money.
And no, not just from ad revenue.
Fleas love free. Black Swans love speed.
Why do Viral Creators Make Less Money?
It’s because they focus on flea content.
Whereas the profit creator focuses on Black Swan content.
As you likely know, black swans are extremely rare.
And if you focus on viral content, you might never see one.
But they make the lives of profit creators effortLESS.
The Paradox
There are two paradoxes at play.
I will tell you one.
The belief you need to go viral to make a lot of money.
But for the majority of creators, the opposite is true.
This belief comes from seeing people with big audiences who go viral AND make significant money.
Alex Hormiz, Ali Abdaal, etc.
You are very likely to see their videos instead of the guys who only have 10,000 followers but make the same amount of money.
Your mind likely did not believe what it just read…
And that shows the paradox at play.
What if the more views you get, the less money you’ll make?
Because in order to get more views, you start reaching more fleas.
More fleas, more noise.
How come?
Most people are unserious.
Don’t believe me. Just look around you.
The more people you reach, the more unserious people you encounter.
Does this always apply?
No.
There’s always nuance.
And never believe me. Verify for yourself.
The viral creator entertains the masses. The profit creator transforms the few.
1 Black Swan > 1,000,000 Fleas.
This is not an exaggeration:
I had a long-form video with 1M views on YouTube
That video made me roughly $1,000
One Black Swan can be worth far more
Fleas want entertainment. Black Swans want clarity.
Fleas stay followers. Black Swans become clients.
If there’s one thing to be true that I’ve found for myself:
Content fades. Audience stays
Focusing on the wrong audience has consequences
Here’s how to build the right one.
May you become a profit creator my friend.
Profit creators may still go viral, here and there, on occasion, but they’re not attracting fleas.
Whether they go viral or not, more black swans find them.
And the honest question you may ask yourself:
Do I want to keep attracting fleas with the occasional luck to find a black swan simply through pure volume?
Or do I become effective? Where Black Swans find me and I create my own luck.
If you don’t know how you may check this free guide.
May you find the truth.
