Remove The 'Need' For Money & Find Peace

Only for the serious individual...

Reprogram Your Mind to be Happy in 9 Minutes.4 min read

There are 5 traps I have found in my life

But only .1% of society understands them deeply
When you do you can reprogram your mind to be happy
And finally, find peace in your life
And freedom from your problems

The 5 Traps in Life are

  1. Need
  2. Self-Image
  3. Instruction
  4. Attachment
  5. Conditioning

There’s so much need in everything we do

The need for my employees to be reliable
The need for the sky to be blue and the sun to shine bright when we walk outside
The need to get a glimpse from our partner or parents when we walk downstairs into the living room

It’s almost unfathomable how much need there is if you pay close attention to it.

To prove my point, you can walk into the hospitals and clinics of people who have difficulty getting kids naturally.

The need for kids is SO STRONG that it is causing them deep unhappiness if they can’t have them

The need for them to become ‘great’ kids
The need for us to become great parents

Here’s the hard truth:

Most kids are just projects of their parents
Parents need to feel good, liked by others, or desire to increase their status

Just like yourself…you see?

Most parents always talk about their kids…are you their ego project?

Some parents have it more than others.

But I have never come across a father OR mother who is DETACHED from their children (while still taking care of them).

Have you? I would love to meet him or her, it’s something special…I hope you can see what I mean.

Why don’t we learn from children?
Kids are less conditioned, thus they mostly do stuff for ‘internal motivations’

We try to teach them,
They should teach us

Because ask yourself HONESTLY if all of your conditioning has benefited you? Or limited you?
Are all these YouTube videos and Podcasts you are watching, actually a net positive?

Are you gathering the breadcrumbs right now (instead of looking at the whole bread),
To justify your pleasure chase & escape from your own life’s problems?

If I may read your mind: is it coming up with examples of recent videos and podcasts where you found value in it?

Now ask yourself, was that one thing really worth it?

1h a day of YouTube
420 minutes of podcasts last week
And did it change your life?

Was it really worth it to listen to 12 people for 7h who aren’t happy themselves?

Who don’t know what they are doing themselves?
7h of pure conditioning & limitations put on you by their limited beliefs
1 min of new hack or tip or lesson

Was it worth it?

Read to become a better reader
Meditate to become good at meditation
Wim Hof Breath to become a better breather
OR Pave your own path to find what you TRULY look for

Does meditation help you find what you are looking for, which could be peace, or is it just giving you ten minutes of peace a day?

I don’t look for temporary peace of ten minutes. If that’s fine with you, keep doing it.

Freedom is a difficult thing, at least for me.
I may not have a good idea of what freedom truly means yet.
But when I say to myself, “Freedom FROM stress”, I understand that it is often what I look for.

Imagine finally finding something that works for us or someone we like.

You found the love of your life.

We cling to it.
We can’t let go of it.
You see this all the time in relationships, right?
Alan Watts said it best when it comes to love, “I love you so much, I can eat you.”

And it just exactly visualizes the point of attachment.

When I hire a great new employee, I get attached to that person because I know how difficult it is to find great people.

And you could say, “Yeah, well, what is the problem with that?”

When it is taken away from you, the person quits, or the love of your life leaves, then you find yourself in unhappiness.

It is not lost, it is only temporary.
Another example would be all the stuff we buy.
We get so attached to it.

Ask yourself, “What if someone took everything you have away from you right now?”

All the stuff you own.
The camera
The smartphone
The laptop

What if someone took it all away from you?
How would that make you feel?

This one has hurt me a lot

“The Successful Entrepreneur”
“The Masculine Man”
“The Creative Artist”

Did you see your mind program these images in your brain when my words landed in your ears?

Did you see the businessman in the black or blue suit earning $100k a year?
Or the testosterone gym guy in the tank top with 5% body fat?
Or the painter in his white, colorful, or hippie clothing and smart glasses on selling $$$$ per masterpiece?

I made big business mistakes
I had to layoff >60% of my employees
I lost one hundred thousands of dollars
And worse of all, I wasted time I never get back
Because of the self-image I had of the “Successful Entrepreneur”

So what is the solution?
NOT another instruction
BUT self-understanding

DEEP understanding
DESIRE to understand

When I walk outside I talk to my voice memo app
Several times a week ±30min

I begin to understand how deep the conditioning is
I see things I never noticed before

And the beauty of it: when I truly understand something, I don’t need to ‘do’ anything
I started to solve problems without solutions
I solve problems by understanding the true problem
And ohhh boy, does that take a lot of time…
Lots of questions are asked
That’s why you need to WANT it
To me it doesn’t feel like effort
But to my mom it does

When I ask her a deeper question, she turns on the tv and start watching her favourite reality soap (that currently gets ±1M views per episode in our country of 17M people)

She tells me: “I don’t like this right now”

And that is how most live their lives…
…escaping from their problems, trying to find happiness in the OPPOSITE

Chasing pleasures instead of understanding the need from which they arise in the first place

When you truly understand the root of the problem, the tree of happiness and peace starts growing..

May you see the tree right in front of you, my friend.

And may you start to give it water.
