Humans are sheep
As I sit here next to the window in a restaurant where I just finished my food
Many people walk in because they see me sitting here
They look inside
Hesitate
Walk by
And return to come inside
To see the other sheep
If it was empty
They wouldn’t look twice
Why is this?
Why does this not happen at a place with nobody but the owner?
Do we think: “someone else sits there, it must be good or at least not bad…?”
Many people sit in snack bars…
Is it good?
If you follow people
If you follow the masses
You eventually get the average of those masses
Don’t you get your food faster in an empty restaurant?
Don’t you get better service in an empty restaurant?
Don’t you get better food from the chef in an empty restaurant?
Nobody seems to think this way
Everyone just follows
Everyone just plays it safe
I went here inside when there was nobody
I got my food fast
The sheep followed me
They are still waiting…
Taking the risk
Making the bet
Paving your own path astray from the sheep
Will give you the best seat in the restaurant, the best food from the chef, the best service from the owner and the fastest delivery of what you desire to just survive another day
Are you willing to walk alone to find out for yourself?
That’s the real question.
